Over the last several years I have been on the go: meeting new people, traveling to new places and working at many companies. I have developed some great and lasting friendships along the way and have had some short but great ones as well. I do my best to keep mine and the spirits of others up and positive. I must admit it has been challenging from time to time. To use the old cliché, "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger." I do truly believe in that statement. Through the bad times I have found more out about myself then through the good times.
I haven’t been to nearly enough places (check out the link: Places on Google Maps)! I still have South Africa, Argentina, China, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Greenland, Alaska, Japan and a few states and other countries to go to. If the country/state wasn’t on the list, it doesn’t mean I don’t want to go it just isn’t at the top of the list right now. Over the last few months I have done a lot of travel in the lower east coast and urge you to check out my photos by selecting the link below to Picasa. You can see I have had some fun time and want to have some more.
The one thing I try to do is keep a level head and work as hard as I play. Hey, it pays the bills and makes the trips that much more desired. I have worked for some great companies and some bad ones. Some of them I am sure you have heard of them and others I am sure only a few people have. But that doesn’t mean much as the wise words from Batman Begins stated, "it's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me." From that perspective I consider myself an entrepreneur in terms of business. Although I have not formed my own company as of yet, I have helped many companies grow and start new teams they haven’t seen the need for. I appear to be best at bringing some order to chaos. At least on the business side.
